Bamboo Matcha Whisk Chasen 4"H 100 Prong

Our 100-prong bamboo matcha whisk {also called a chasen} breaks up clumps and whips your matcha into a smooth, frothy cup, the same way it's been done for centuries.

Its fine bamboo prongs mix more air into each whisk, which gives you a creamier texture and a richer foam than a spoon or electric frother can. It works for traditional hot matcha and for lattes, both iced and hot. Pair it with our Matcha Tea for the perfect at-home matcha ritual. 

How to use:

1. Sift 1–2 tsp of matcha into a bowl.

2. Add about 2 oz of hot water, around 175°F. Don't use boiling water.

3. Whisk quickly in a "W" or "M" motion for 15–20 seconds, until the matcha is frothy.

4. Top it off with more water or milk.

Care tips:

• Soak the whisk in warm water for a minute before using it, so the prongs soften and don't snap.

• Rinse it with warm water only, no soap.

• Let it air dry with the prongs facing down, ideally on a whisk holder.
